Since a young age, Artur Zherd has been making up stories. Some weren’t very original (like a stomach ache as an excuse to skip school), while others found their way onto the page. After quitting university and moving through a series of ordinary jobs, he left his hometown in search of a different way of living–or whatever was on his mind back then. Years of travel, freelancing, and temporary homes shaped both his life and his writing, eventually bringing him to Portugal. He continues to write stories there, often drawing from everyday moments, the absurdity of human existence, and quiet observation. Please, take a moment to read one or two of them.
